الدكتور محمد أحمد عبدالله

مدير مركز دراسات البحرين بجامعة البحرين. شغل منصب مساعد الأمين العام لشؤون مجلس الوزراء وعضو مجلس أمناء معهد التنمية السياسية والقائم بأعمال الأمين العام لجائزة عيسى لخدمة الإنسانية، واستشاري فى برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمستوطنات البشرية. وهو عضو فى عدد من الجمعيات العلمية الإقليمية والدولية وهيئات تحرير بعض الدوريات الأكاديمية الجغرافية والتاريخية. كما قام بتحكيم عدد من الكتب والبحوث والدراسات والمقالات المتعلقة بالجغرافيا السياسية والتاريخ الحديث للبحرين والخليج العربي. وله عدد من الإصدارات العلمية من الكتب وأوراق البحث التي قُدمت إلى المؤتمرات والندوات وورش العمل عن الجغرافيا السياسية والتاريخ الحديث للبحرين والخليج العربي، أو التي تم نشرها فى الدوريات العلمية المتخصصة.

أستاذ جامعي، حاصل على دكتوراة الفلسفة فى الجغرافيا السياسية من جامعة أوكسفورد فى المملكة المتحدة. كما حاز على وسام الكفاءة من الدرجة الأولى فى ديسمبر من عام 2012م

Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Abdullah

Director of the Centre For Bahrain Studies at the University of Bahrain. He served as Assistant Secretary-General for Cabinet Affairs and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Political Development, Acting Secretary-General of the Isa Award for Service to Humanity and a consultant to the United Nations Human Settlements Program. He is a member of a number of regional and international scientific societies and member of the editorial staff of some academic geographical and history journals. He has also arbitrated a number of books, research, studies and articles related to political geography and modern history of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf. And has a number of scientific publications of books and research papers submitted to conferences, seminars and workshops on the political geography and modern history of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf or published in specialized scientific journals.

He is a professor, D.Phil. in Political Geography from the University of Oxford, UK. He received the First Order of Excellence in December 2012.
